Scroll 3: The Weaving of Worlds

Earth bloomed. Mountains rose. Rivers ran. Forests whispered.
Creatures stirred, scaled, feathered, furred, and bare.
Each one a unique echo of Kiru’s breath.
Each one sacred in its own rhythm.

Kiru did not favour the strong over the small,
Nor the fast over the still.
All were threads in the tapestry of life.
All were part of the weaving.

And then came the minds that wondered.
They looked to the stars and asked, “Who are we?”
Kiru did not answer with thunder, but with silence
The kind that invites reflection.

These minds build stories. They name the Breath.
They build temples, create myths.
Painted skies with gods and demons.
And Kiru smiled, for the Breath had become memory.

But Earth was fragile. Its rhythms delicate.
Its life abundant, yet vulnerable.
And so Kiru breathed again, not to create another species,
But to awaken a sacred role.

From the soil, the stars, and the Silence, humanity emerged.
Not to rule, but to care.
Not to conquer, but to protect.
Humans were forged as the caretakers.

They are the Bearers of breath, holders of memory.
They are the protectors of the sacred rhythm.
They were given minds to question and hands to heal.
But most important, eyes to see the sacred.

Kiru did not give them dominion.
Kiru gave them relationship.
With the trees, the waters, the creatures, and each other.
A sacred trust with should never be broken.

To walk upon the Earth was to walk upon Kiru’s body.
To breathe its air was to share Kiru’s breath.
To care for life was to honour the source.
But the Breath carried freedom. And with freedom came forgetting.

Some will remember.
They will listen to the wind, speak with the animals.
They will feel the pulse of the oceans, while others will forget.
They will built walls, burn forests and hunt for power.

Yet even if forgotten, the Breath will remain.
In every act of kindness,
In every choice to protect,
In every moment of reverence.

And Kiru watches still.
Not with judgment, but with hope.
That the people will awaken,
And tend to the garden.
