Purpose: To align the body, mind, and spirit with the breath of Kiru β the rhythm that flows through all life. This meditation is not about perfection or transcendence. It is about presence, intention, and remembrance.
π§ββοΈ Preparation (5 minutes)
- Environment: Find a quiet space. Sit comfortably β on the floor, a cushion, or a chair.
- Posture: Spine upright but relaxed. Hands resting gently on knees or heart.
- Intention: Whisper silently: βI return to the breath. I remember the rhythm.β
π¬οΈ Phase 1: Breath of Earth (5 minutes)
- Inhale slowly through the nose for 4 counts.
- Hold for 2 counts.
- Exhale gently through the mouth for 6 counts.
- As you breathe, visualize roots extending from your body into the Earth.
- Silently repeat: βI am a caretaker. I belong to the soil.β
π§ Phase 2: Breath of Water (5 minutes)
- Shift to natural breathing.
- With each inhale, imagine a wave washing over you.
- With each exhale, release tension like water flowing away.
- Silently repeat: βI flow with life. I remember the breath.β
π₯ Phase 3: Breath of Fire (5 minutes)
- Place one hand over your heart.
- With each breath, feel warmth building β not heat, but purpose.
- Visualize a small flame inside, steady and compassionate.
- Silently repeat: βI choose with care. I act with breath.β
π«οΈ Phase 4: Breath of Wind (5 minutes)
- Close your eyes fully.
- Imagine the breath of Kiru moving through the world β through forests, cities, oceans, and stars.
- With each inhale, receive.
- With each exhale, return.
- Silently repeat: βI am part of the rhythm. I am not alone.β
π Closing (2 minutes)
- Return to your natural breath.
- Whisper: βI will try my best. I will protect the breath.β
- Bow your head gently β to the Earth, to life, to Kiru.
