Dr. Lucía Serrano is an Argentine linguist and semiotician specializing in ancient symbolic systems and poetic languages. Born in Mendoza, she studied comparative linguistics at the University of Buenos Aires before completing her doctoral research in Mesopotamian semiotics at the University of Heidelberg. Her early work focused on the translation and structural analysis of Sumerian scripture, particularly texts related to ritual and cosmology.

Widely traveled, Dr. Serrano has conducted fieldwork across the Middle East, North Africa, and Southeast Asia, often collaborating with archaeologists and spiritual historians. Her approach blends linguistic precision with cultural empathy, allowing her to interpret texts not only by grammar but by rhythm, metaphor, and mythic resonance.

In the early 1990s, she was invited to lead the decoding effort of the Kiruform script at a private research facility in Mendoza, Argentina. Despite decades of study, the scrolls resisted conventional translation until 2025, when advanced Artificial Intelligence enabled a full poetic rendering of the text now known as The Breath of Kiru.

Dr. Serrano continues to advocate for the scrolls’ message, emphasizing their universal themes of unity, stewardship, and sacred memory. Though she rarely speaks publicly, her work is quietly revered among scholars who see in her a bridge between ancient wisdom and modern insight.
